It was a typical blur of a Monday morning for Jim, the old new dad: up in the middle of the night changing diapers, hustling the two older kids to school, throwing on a sports coat, and making it to work just in time for the staff meeting. His boss called him into his after the meeting. Jim wondered what it could be about, he hoped it wasn't bad news.
"Jim, is everything okay at home?"
"Yes, Dave, why do you ask?"
"I mean, you aren't having trouble sleeping or anything?"
"Well, you know with the baby, yeah it is a challenge, but we're managing. Is something up?"
"Well, while we do have a pretty relaxed dress code, Jim, it is pretty unusual to show up to work in pajamas and a sports coat."
