Mr. Hudson ran the hardware store in Huppetsville. Henry was a high school student who worked for Mr. Hudson, but he was always late to work. And he always had an excuse. One time he was late because his car wouldn't start. The next time he was late because his car ran out of gas. After a while, Mr. Hudson had enough and called Henry to his office.
"Henry," said Mr. Hudson, "We have a problem. I need you to come in and help me on time, but you are always having car trouble. What are you going to do about it?"
"Well," said Henry, "I suppose you could give me more hours so I can buy a new car."
