It is an evening out on the ocean for Captain Clem and Clementine Clam. They decide to go dancing at an old-fashioned undersea ballroom where a live orchestra of lobsters played all kinds of dance music.
While not the most stellar dancers, they noticed that the other aquatic dancers swam aside and watched them clumsily dance the cha-cha, mutilate the merengue, and even foul-up the foxtrot. They heard the other dancers snickering, but weren't bothered as they were enjoying themselves.
However, when they were dancing the tango, people began laughing hysterically when Clem leaned Clementine backward. This angered Clem who looked up and holding Clementine next to him, shouted, "What, you've never seen clam dip before?"
