An wildlife expert was surprised to see that each morning a male kangaroo would stuff a scavenged emu egg in a female kangaroo's pouch for a few minutes and then would take it out and eat it. He was surprised at how consistently the male kangaroo would repeat this behavior.

At first he thought it was part of  the kangaroo's mating ritual. But upon seeing the kangaroo repeat this behavior every morning at 90 second intervals, he finally concluded that the kangaroo just liked a three-minute pouched egg.
