Acme was sued when their spring-loaded travel bags would not stay open and several people were injured when the luggage snapped closed on their fingers.

The jury ruled against Acme. The lawyer for the injured parties said, "I was not surprised the jury ruled as they did, it was really a case of  an open and shut case."
